An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our talented team. As a quantity surveyor at Daniel Charles you will play a vital part in the overall success by looking after the financial and contractual wellbeing of the company.

Responsibilities include

• Surveying of Civil Engineering Projects
• Production and management of accurate valuations, including subcontract enquiries, cost monitoring and preparation of valuation and final accounts.
• Reporting monthly figures of profit and loss with a full understanding of the scope of the project
• Management of sub-contractors.
• Working closely with clients, commercial and contract delivery teams.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Methodical style of working
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Team Working ethic
• Experience of Conquest Software would be an advantage, but training can be given.
