Daniel Charles Aggregates, part of the Daniel Charles Group, is a privately owned business based in Lincoln with a reputation for delivering quality products within Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Construction & Demolition Wash Plant Operator.

The Role

You will enjoy working in a ‘hands on’ practical position within a busy Quarry environment alongside a close-knit group of colleagues.

This role will see you having a variety of duties within the plant from carry out daily checks, assuring daily production targets are met, help planning preventative maintenance with site management, each day will be different.

Quality checks on processed materials exiting wash plant conveyor belts, along with ensuring material entering the feed mechanism is correct (e.g. checking with shovel driver, observing material being tipped into hopper).

Reporting to the Quarry Manager placing the highest importance on our sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

Keep accurate records of production and consumption of materials that the wash plant produces.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated individual who possesses a positive attitude in their approach to work. You will ideally have experience in plant operations to include screening, crushing, washing of aggregates however, training and development will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the necessary skills and aptitude to take on this challenging role.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm; Saturdays 7.00am to 12.00pm

Holidays: 22 days Annual Holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
