Plant & Fleet Administrator

Daniel Charles Construction Limited is a privately owned business based in Lincoln with a reputation for delivering quality Civil Engineering projects within Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas undertaking a range of interesting and diverse projects.


This is a key role, working with the Group Plant Manager.


  • Co-ordinating Vehicle Tax, MOT & Servicing on our fleet of over 100 road-going vehicles.
  • Co-ordinating servicing & repairs on the fleet of vans, company cars and HGV lorries.
  • Assist in getting new vehicles onto the road; Logbooks, sign writing and ply lining co-ordination.
  • Co-ordinating new vehicles with our insurers.
  • Work with our Vehicle & Plant Tracking suppliers to install new trackers and also assist in data analysis.
  • Ensuring that vehicle collisions are promptly reported to our insurers and arranging subsequent repairs.
  • Administer fuel cards.
  • Administer Driving Licences, motoring convictions and fines.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders and vehicle movements.
  • Support Group Plant Manager.

This role involves a lot of telephone communication with our site workers, suppliers and office staff. Along with heavy use of our computer systems and supplier web portals.


The Package

Hours:                   Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (negotiable)

Holidays:              26 days Annual Holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
