This contract consisted of the construction of approximately 300 mtrs of new 5.5mtr wide carriageway to L.C.C. standards, the installation of more than 800mtrs of foul and surface water drainage to depths in excess of 4.5mtrs, all to Anglian water adoptable standards.

With the water table at 2.7mtrs deep the entire foul drainage installation had to be de-watered, by way of a well pointed de-watering system. This was installed by Daniel Charles Construction's directly employed labour.
